How does the AI recipe generation work?
Our AI analyzes thousands of recipes and cooking patterns to generate unique, personalized recipes. You can input preferences like cuisine type, ingredients, or specific cravings, and the AI will create a recipe tailored to your needs.
Is RecipeLM free to use?
Yes, most features are available in the free tier, but with a limited amount of credits to try out features. For greater usage and advanced features, you can upgrade to our Preferred or Premium plan.
What makes RecipeLM different from other recipe websites?
RecipeLM combines AI technology with practical cooking knowledge to create truly personalized recipes. Unlike traditional recipe sites, we don't just show you existing recipes - we create unique recipes tailored to your preferences, dietary restrictions, and available ingredients.
How many recipes are in the library?
There are currently 199 recipes in the library and users are adding more of their favorite recipes every day.
Can I trust the AI-generated recipes?
Yes! Our AI is trained on thousands of verified recipes and cooking techniques. Each generated recipe is validated to ensure proper ingredient combinations, cooking times, and food safety standards. We also encourage user feedback and continuously improve our AI based on community input.
Features & Usage
How do I save recipes to my cookbook?
Simply click the "Save" button on any recipe page to add it to your personal cookbook. Free users can save up to 10 recipes, while Premium users have unlimited saves.
Can I modify existing recipes?
Yes! For 1 credit users can modify any recipe using our AI customization tools. You can adjust ingredients, portions, or cooking methods to match your preferences.
How does the Instacart integration work?
Every recipe includes an "Add to Instacart" button that automatically creates a shopping list with all required ingredients. Premium users get enhanced integration with smart ingredient matching.
Can I specify dietary restrictions for my recipes?
Yes! When generating recipes, you can specify dietary restrictions like vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or any specific allergies. Our AI will ensure all generated recipes comply with your dietary needs while maintaining taste and nutrition.
Are the photos real?
No, they are approximate AI creations of what the final dish will look like based on the ingredients and preparation instructions.
How do I share my recipes with others?
Premium users can share their recipes through unique links or export them as PDFs. You can also share your entire cookbook with family and friends, and they can easily import recipes to their own accounts.
What if I don't have all the ingredients for a recipe?
Simply click the "Modify Recipe with AI" button on the recipe page, and our AI will help you adjust the recipe based on the ingredients you have available. You can also use Instacart integration to easily order any missing ingredients.
Account & Billing
How do I upgrade to Premium?
Visit My Account Settings > Your Subscription to select the Premium plan. You can start with our free tier to try out basic features, then upgrade to Premium when you're ready for advanced features. We process all payments securely through Stripe.
What happens when I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
When upgrading to Premium, your new features will be available immediately and you'll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your billing cycle. When downgrading to the free tier, you'll maintain Premium access until the end of your current billing period. Your first 10 saved recipes will remain accessible, while additional recipes will be archived until you upgrade again.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) as well as popular digital payment methods like Apple Pay and Google Pay. All payments are securely processed through Stripe.
How do I update my billing information?
You can update your payment method and billing information anytime through your account settings under the Billing section. Your payment information is securely stored with Stripe and never touches our servers.
What happens if my payment fails?
If a payment fails, we'll automatically retry the charge and notify you by email. You'll have a grace period to update your payment information. After multiple failed attempts, your account will be downgraded to the free tier. We use Stripe's Smart Retries system to optimize payment retry timing and reduce failed payments.
Can I get a refund?
We don't typically provide refunds for unused portions of your subscription. However, you can downgrade to the free tier at any time, and you'll continue to have Premium access until the end of your current billing period.
How do I view my billing history and invoices?
You can access your complete billing history and download invoices anytime from your account settings under the Billing section. Each invoice includes detailed information about your charges and payment status.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes! We use Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor, to handle all transactions. Your payment information is encrypted and securely stored with Stripe - we never store sensitive payment data on our servers.
