BBQ Chicken Thighs
×
Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium heat (about 350°F to 375°F).
- In a bowl, mix the barbecue sauce, honey, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. This helps to achieve a nice, crispy skin.
- Coat the chicken thighs thoroughly with the barbecue sauce mixture. Reserve some sauce for brushing later while grilling.
- Place the coated chicken thighs on the grill, skin side down. Close the lid and grill for about 8-10 minutes.
- Flip the chicken thighs and brush with more barbecue sauce. Grill for another 6-8 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Watch that you don't scorch the sauce due to the honey.
- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes, then serve.
