Caribbean Spiced Salmon with Citrus Zest
×
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons Caribbean spice blend
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
- Lime wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, mix together the lime juice, lemon juice, Caribbean spice blend, olive oil, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring each fillet is well-coated. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
- Once the grill or skillet is hot, place the salmon fillets skin-side down (if they have skin) on the grill or skillet.
- Cook for about 4-5 minutes, then carefully flip the fillets and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through.
- Remove the salmon from the heat and sprinkle with chopped cilantro.
- Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side for an extra burst of citrus.
