Cheesy Sausage Fries Bake
Ingredients
- Frozen French fries (1 pound)
- Olive oil (1 tablespoon)
- Salt (1 each)
- Pepper (1 each)
- Sausage (1 pound)
- Shredded cheese (2 cups)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine 1 pound of frozen French fries with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 each of salt and pepper. Mix well to coat the fries evenly.
- Spread the seasoned fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake the fries in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until they are golden and crispy.
- While the fries are baking, cook 1 pound of sausage in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
- Once the fries are done, remove them from the oven and sprinkle the cooked sausage evenly over the fries.
- Sprinkle 2 cups of shredded cheese over the sausage and fries, making sure to cover them well.
- Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
