Classic Chinese Vegetable Stir-Fry
Ingredients
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 large carrot, julienned
- 1 cup snap peas
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet, stirring quickly to prevent burning, for about 30 seconds.
- Add the broccoli florets, sliced red bell pepper, julienned carrot, and snap peas to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil, tossing to coat the vegetables evenly. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over the stir-fry.
- Serve immediately, either on its own or with steamed rice or noodles.
