Classic Cuban Sandwiches with Mojo Sauce

Ingredients
- mojo sauce made from 4 cloves of garlic, 1/2 cup of orange juice, 1/4 cup of lime juice, 1 tablespoon of dried oregano, and 1/2 cup of olive oil
- 1 loaf of Cuban bread
- sliced roast pork, about 1/2 pound
- sliced ham, about 1/4 pound
- sliced Swiss cheese, about 4 ounces
- sliced dill pickles, about 1/2 cup
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your sandwich press or grill to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, combine the minced garlic, orange juice, lime juice, oregano, and olive oil to make the mojo sauce. Mix well and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Slice the Cuban bread lengthwise, leaving one side hinged. Spread a generous amount of the mojo sauce inside the bread.
- Layer the sandwich with sliced pork, ham, Swiss cheese, dill pickles, and more mojo sauce on top.
- Close the sandwich and spread a little more mojo sauce on the outside of the bread.
- Place the sandwich on the press or grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the bread is golden and the cheese melts.
- Remove from heat, slice the sandwich diagonally, and serve with additional mojo sauce on the side.
