  • 100 grams smoked salmon

  • 2 mini cucumbers, cut into thin strips

  • Oil for greasing the baking dish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish with oil.
  2. Line the bottom of the baking dish with one nori sheet, ensuring it lays flat.
  3. Spread a layer of cooked and seasoned sushi rice over the nori sheet, approximately 1/4 inch thick, pressing it gently to adhere.
  4. Evenly distribute slices of avocado over the sushi rice layer.
  5. Place strips of cucumber over the avocado layer for a crunchy texture.
  6. Next, lay thin slices of smoked salmon over the cucumbers, covering them evenly.
  7. Dollop small amounts of cream cheese on top of the salmon, and sprinkle black sesame seeds for added flavor and aesthetics.
  8. Repeat the layering process two more times using the remaining nori sheets, sushi rice, avocado, cucumbers, smoked salmon, and cream cheese, finishing with a final layer of smoked salmon and sesame seeds.
  9. Once all layers are assembled, bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes until warmed through and the nori is slightly crispy.
  10. Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly, then slice into bite-sized squares or rectangles. Serve immediately and enjoy!
