×
Ingredients
- 100 grams smoked salmon
- 1 cup cooked and seasoned sushi rice
- ½ avocado, sliced
- 2 mini cucumbers, cut into thin strips
- 3 nori sheets
- 2-3 tablespoons cream cheese
- black sesame seeds, for sprinkling
- Oil for greasing the baking dish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish with oil.
- Line the bottom of the baking dish with one nori sheet, ensuring it lays flat.
- Spread a layer of cooked and seasoned sushi rice over the nori sheet, approximately 1/4 inch thick, pressing it gently to adhere.
- Evenly distribute slices of avocado over the sushi rice layer.
- Place strips of cucumber over the avocado layer for a crunchy texture.
- Next, lay thin slices of smoked salmon over the cucumbers, covering them evenly.
- Dollop small amounts of cream cheese on top of the salmon, and sprinkle black sesame seeds for added flavor and aesthetics.
- Repeat the layering process two more times using the remaining nori sheets, sushi rice, avocado, cucumbers, smoked salmon, and cream cheese, finishing with a final layer of smoked salmon and sesame seeds.
- Once all layers are assembled, bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes until warmed through and the nori is slightly crispy.
- Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly, then slice into bite-sized squares or rectangles. Serve immediately and enjoy!
