  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt 1/2 cup of unsalted butter over medium heat.
  2. Add 6 cloves of minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
  3. Add 1 pound of large shrimp, peeled and deveined, to the skillet. Cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
  4. Season the shrimp with 1 teaspoon of paprika, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper. Stir to combine.
  5. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the juice of 1 lemon and 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley for freshness.
  6. Serve immediately over cooked rice or pasta, and garnish with additional lemon wedges and parsley if desired.
