Green Bean Casserole

Ingredients
- Fresh green beans, trimmed, 1 pound
- Cream of mushroom soup, 1 can (10.5 ounces)
- Milk, 1/2 cup
- Soy sauce, 1 teaspoon
- French fried onions, 1 cup for mixing and 1 cup for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot of boiling salted water, blanch 1 pound of fresh green beans for about 5 minutes until bright green and slightly tender. Drain and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 can (10.5 ounces) of cream of mushroom soup, 1/2 cup of milk, and 1 teaspoon of soy sauce. Mix until well combined.
- Add the blanched green beans to the soup mixture, along with 1 cup of French fried onions. Stir gently to combine everything evenly.
- Transfer the green bean mixture into a greased 2-quart casserole dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Sprinkle an additional 1 cup of French fried onions on top of the casserole.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly, and the onions on top are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
