×
Ingredients
- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 green onions, sliced for garnish
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, garlic, and apple cider vinegar until fully combined.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
- Once the oil is hot, add the chicken thighs to the skillet and sear them for about 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken in the skillet. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
- Remove the skillet from heat and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Serve the chicken over steamed rice and drizzle with additional sauce if desired. Garnish with sliced green onions.
