Honey Soy Glazed Chicken

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 4 chicken thighs, bone-in, skin-on
- 2 green onions, sliced for garnish
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil to create the marinade.
- Place the chicken thighs in a zip-top bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over. Seal or cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours for better flavor.
- Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat while the chicken marinates.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and let the excess drip off. Reserve the marinade for basting.
- Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. During the last few minutes of cooking, baste the chicken with the reserved marinade.
- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Serve the chicken garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.
