Layered Sushi Bake (No-Roll Sushi)

Ingredients
- 100 grams smoked salmon
- Cooked and seasoned sushi rice
- ½ avocado, sliced
- 2 mini cucumbers, cut into thin strips
- 3 nori sheets
- 2-3 tablespoons cream cheese
- Black sesame seeds, for sprinkling
- Oil for greasing the baking dish
Instructions
- Lightly brush a small baking dish with peanut or vegetable oil.
- Layer the smoked salmon evenly on the bottom of the baking dish.
- Spread a layer of cooked and seasoned sushi rice over the smoked salmon.
- Place a nori sheet on top of the rice.
- Spread 2-3 tablespoons of cream cheese over the nori sheet.
- Arrange the thin cucumber strips and avocado slices over the cream cheese.
- Place another nori sheet on top of the vegetables and press down firmly.
- Add another layer of sushi rice over the second nori sheet.
- Finish with the final nori sheet and press down well.
- Flip the baking dish onto a cutting board.
- Sprinkle the top with black sesame seeds and cut into bite-sized pieces.
- Serve with soy sauce, pickled ginger, and wasabi if desired.
