Lemon Garlic Shrimp

Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges for serving
- 1 loaf crusty bread, for serving
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the shrimp, fresh lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the shrimp are evenly coated. Let marinate for about 15 minutes.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and opaque.
- Add the white wine to the skillet and bring it to a simmer. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to allow the alcohol to evaporate.
- Stir in the chopped parsley and red pepper flakes. Cook for another minute, then remove from heat.
- Serve the Lemon Garlic Shrimp with lemon wedges and crusty bread on the side to soak up the delicious sauce.
