  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts (trimmed and halved)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper
  • 1/2 cup Balsamic vinegar
  • to taste Hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 4 slices Bacon (chopped)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Trim the stems of the Brussels sprouts and remove any discolored leaves.
  3. Rinse the Brussels sprouts and dry them with a towel.
  4. Slice the Brussels sprouts in half and place them in a bowl.
  5. Add olive oil, salt, and pepper to the bowl and toss to coat the sprouts.
  6. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the Brussels sprouts cut side down.
  7. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes until they are golden brown.
  8. In a pot, heat balsamic vinegar and reduce it by half over medium heat.
  9. Drizzle the balsamic reduction over the roasted Brussels sprouts.
  10. Add hot sauce and sprinkle grated parmesan cheese over the sprouts.
  11. Chop garlic and bacon, then add them to the Brussels sprouts with additional olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  12. Spread the mixture on the baking sheet and roast until bacon is crispy.
