Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Balsamic Reduction and Bacon

Ingredients
- 1 pound Brussels sprouts (trimmed and halved)
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black pepper
- 1/2 cup Balsamic vinegar
- to taste Hot sauce
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 4 slices Bacon (chopped)
- 2 cloves Garlic (chopped)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Trim the stems of the Brussels sprouts and remove any discolored leaves.
- Rinse the Brussels sprouts and dry them with a towel.
- Slice the Brussels sprouts in half and place them in a bowl.
- Add olive oil, salt, and pepper to the bowl and toss to coat the sprouts.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the Brussels sprouts cut side down.
- Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes until they are golden brown.
- In a pot, heat balsamic vinegar and reduce it by half over medium heat.
- Drizzle the balsamic reduction over the roasted Brussels sprouts.
- Add hot sauce and sprinkle grated parmesan cheese over the sprouts.
- Chop garlic and bacon, then add them to the Brussels sprouts with additional olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the mixture on the baking sheet and roast until bacon is crispy.
