  • 2 sheets of puff pastry, thawed

  • 4 ounces of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 large egg, beaten (for egg wash)

  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced ham, shredded cheddar cheese, softened cream cheese, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix until well combined.
  3. Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface. Cut each sheet into squares (approximately 4x4 inches).
  4. Place a spoonful of the ham and cheese mixture in the center of each puff pastry square.
  5. Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling to create a pouch, pinching the edges to seal securely.
  6. Place the filled puffs on the prepared baking sheet and brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the puffs are golden brown and puffed up.
