Ingredients

  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 cup Rice
  • 1 sheet Nori (seaweed) (cut into strips)
  • 1 tablespoon Minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds (toasted)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. In a pot, combine the rinsed rice and 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer until the rice is tender and water is absorbed.
  4. Remove from heat and let it sit, covered, for 5 minutes.
  5. Fluff the rice with a fork and stir in the minced garlic, sesame oil, and sesame seeds.
  6. Serve the rice in a bowl and garnish with nori strips.
