  • 8 corn tortillas for serving
  • 1 avocado, diced for topping
  • 1/2 cup of fresh cilantro, chopped for garnish
  • 1 teaspoon of salt for seasoning
  • Additional sweet chili sauce for serving

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced steak with 1/2 cup of sweet chili sauce, the juice of 2 limes, and the minced garlic. Mix well and allow the steak to marinate for at least 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the marinated steak to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the steak is browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Season with 1 teaspoon of salt.
  3. While the steak is cooking, warm the corn tortillas in a separate dry skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side until they are pliable.
  4. To assemble the tacos, place a generous amount of the cooked steak on each tortilla. Top with diced avocado and chopped cilantro.
  5. Drizzle additional sweet chili sauce over the top for added flavor, and serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
