Sweet Chili Steak Tacos

Ingredients
- 1 pound of diced steak for marinating and serving
- 1/2 cup of sweet chili sauce for marinating and serving
- Juice of 2 limes for marinating and serving
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil for cooking
- 8 corn tortillas for serving
- 1 avocado, diced for topping
- 1/2 cup of fresh cilantro, chopped for garnish
- 1 teaspoon of salt for seasoning
- Additional sweet chili sauce for serving
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the diced steak with 1/2 cup of sweet chili sauce, the juice of 2 limes, and the minced garlic. Mix well and allow the steak to marinate for at least 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the marinated steak to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the steak is browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Season with 1 teaspoon of salt.
- While the steak is cooking, warm the corn tortillas in a separate dry skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side until they are pliable.
- To assemble the tacos, place a generous amount of the cooked steak on each tortilla. Top with diced avocado and chopped cilantro.
- Drizzle additional sweet chili sauce over the top for added flavor, and serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
